Country newcomer Kaylee Rutland is giving The Boot's readers an exclusive first look at her 'Good Day to Get Gone' music video. The song is the title track from her newest EP, released this summer.

Rutland, one of Billboard Magazine's Top 10 Country Artists to Watch in 2014, is a Texas-bred gal with a soulful sound, fresh look and genuine disposition. All of that translates to this lighthearted music video, which depicts a fun-loving day out with the girls, blowing past the city limits with no plans except a desire to live life to the fullest.

Rutland and her friends fill a snazzy red convertible, driving through the country with the sun on their faces and hair blowing in the wind. The free-spirited video encapsulates the lyrics of the song's chorus: "Let those wheels spin 'round / It's time to take us some time / Before the sun goes down / Let's chase it across that blue sky / That clock keeps ticking / And life is for living / So what are we waiting on?"

At one point during the video, the car stops at a diner, where Rutland locks eyes with a good-looking guy as she puts her flier up in the window -- so he's easily clued in to where he can find her that night.

The video also shows clips of Rutland performing onstage, and her easy voice and gorgeous smile make it easy to see why she has 2.9 million YouTube views and 100,000 social media followers.

Rutland released her first, self-titled EP in 2012, followed by the single 'Into the Circle,' featuring Jamie O’Neal and Colt Ford, in 2013.

'Good Day to Get Gone' is available for purchase on iTunes and to stream on Spotify.
