Katie Armiger released her latest single, 'Safe,' from her album, 'Fall Into Me,' earlier this year. The accompanying video for the tune honors first responders, who risk their lives every day to save other people.

"We were thinking of ways to give back," Armiger explains of the reason for the video's direction. Interspersed among a love story is a true-to-life depiction of a fireman rushing into a burning building to rescue a little boy trapped inside.

"I wanted to make a video that really honored first responders, and that really showed what they have to do every day, and how they risk their lives," director Justin Baldoni adds. "I have so much respect for them."

Along with the song, Armiger launched YouMakeMeFeelSafe.com as a place for people to offer their gratitude and support for firefighters, police officers, paramedics and other first responders.

Armiger's clip for 'Safe' has already received more than a million views. Watch the video here.

The songstress co-wrote 'Safe,' along with the other 13 tracks on 'Fall Into Me.' She says each of the songs have a central theme that continues throughout the entire project.

“This album revolves around love," she explains to The Boot. "Whether it’s falling in love or falling out of love, you’re always falling into something.”
