Kacey Musgraves lit up the stage at the 2013 CMAs in a bright yellow dress during a performance of her tongue-in-cheek fan favorite 'Follow Your Arrow,' off her album 'Same Trailer, Different Park.'

The tune has been the object of some controversy within the country music community, but Musgraves' performance was well-received at the show, earning hearty cheers from the crowd -- though the line, "If the straight and narrow gets a little too straight, roll up a joint -- or don't" was, rather ironically, censored for the broadcast.

Newcomer Musgraves was up for six nominations at this year's awards, including Female Vocalist of the Year, and Song of the Year for her single 'Merry Go 'Round.' She tied with Taylor Swift for the most nominations for any artist of 2013. She ultimately took home New Artist of the Year.
