Justin Moore has served as opening act for some of country music's biggest stars, including Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert and Darius Rucker, but now he's ready to switch roles. The singer will kick off his own headlining tour next year, with March as a tentative month to begin the trek.

"We're going to try it," Justin reveals to Country Weekly. "We've been to all these arenas and opened for people and now we're going to pull in and our name is at the top of the marquee, which has not been the case so far."

The performer, who's currently on the charts with "'Til My Last Day," is already amazed at the many decisions he has to make about the upcoming tour. "It's a little nerve-racking because it all falls on you," he says. "If nobody comes it's your fault. But it's really, really exciting and kind of hard to believe we've come to that point, in all honesty."

The married father of two tries to bring his family on the road with him as much as possible, since he acknowledges that his wife of five years, Kate, deserves much of the credit for his success. "She's been dealing with me for a long time now," Justin told The Boot. "She was there before anyone else cared about my music or what I was doing, so that helps. She's very proud of me. I can't say enough about the support she gives me."

Justin will have to wait to plan his own tour until after he finishes his run as the opener on Eric Church's Blood, Sweat and Beers trek. Keep track of his schedule here.
