Joshua Scott Jones, best known as one-half of the award-winning duo, Steel Magnolia, has announced the details for his debut solo album, 'The Healing.'

The album will be released on June 3. Jones co-wrote and executive produced all 11 tracks on the new record

“This has been a long time coming for me,” he explains. “I feel like it’s really a chance for my voice to be heard.”

'The Healing' includes his debut single, 'Honk (If You're Tonky),' as well as the poignant tune, 'Just How a Heart Breaks,' which was written while he was in rehab in 2011.

“I feel like at this point in my life I don’t want to be anything but candid," he reveals in the upcoming issue of People Country. "This record certainly reflects my headspace over the last few years and tells the story of what I've gone through, especially the title track of the record, ‘The Healing.' Although I've been near the top before in my career, I'm looking forward to experiencing it all again; this time clean, clear and healthy."
