Josh Thompson Sings With Army Member [VIDEO]

Josh Thompson recently invited a fan -- and member of the United States Army -- to share the stage with him and sing one of his songs.

Thompson held a contest for fans to cover one of his songs, submitting 15-second clips via Instagram. The prize was joining the 'Turn It Up' singer to perform at one of his tour stops. Evan Masters of the Minnesota Army National Guard won the grand prize and joined Thompson on stage at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill in Denver, Colo.

“He would like to dedicate a song to all the country ladies out there," Thompson says before the two begin a duet of 'You Ain't Seen Country Yet.'

Masters is a natural performer in the video, pacing the stage and interacting with Thompson and fans. The evening was made more special when several of Masters' friends from Minnesota flew in to show their support.

Thompson is slated to be on the road through October to support his second studio album 'Turn It Up.' A list of upcoming tour stops can be found here.
