Country newcomer Jon Pardi has released his much-anticipated debut album, 'Write You a Song.' The album, which has already spawned two singles, dropped on Tuesday (Jan. 14).

The 28-year-old singer-songwriter made good on the album's title by co-writing all but one of the album's 11 tracks. In an unusual move for a new artist, he also co-produced the project with Bart Butler, who co-wrote many of the songs.

Growing up in California, Pardi was heavily influenced by his grandmother's taste for classic country acts like George Strait and Alabama. His high-energy original songs put a new stamp on a traditional approach, resulting in a fresh new sound that is uniquely his own.

“This album represents the last four years of my life, from relationships to playing music,” Pardi says. “It’s a fun, upbeat album with songs about life and love.”

The album's lead single, 'Missin' You Crazy,' topped out at No. 25 last year, and the follow-up, 'Up All Night,' is also climbing the charts. According to Billboard, Pardi has visited more than 300 radio stations since releasing his first single, building support town by town. He's also been pursuing an aggressive touring schedule, opening for Luke Bryan and Eric Church, and performing on a package tour with Justin Moore and Dustin Lynch.

That has given the young performer a solid foundation to launch his debut, but Pardi insists that it's still all about the music.

"If you can take a piece of life and put it in a song," he says, "it's going to be a good song -- especially if it's from the heart."

'Write You a Song' is available for download at Amazon and iTunes.
