Jon Pardi Releases Interactive Video for ‘What I Can’t Put Down’

Jon Pardi has released a unique video for his latest single, 'What I Can't Put Down.'

The innovative clip allows the viewer to help direct the action by making a series of choices: beer or whiskey, blonde or brunette, and white or black suit?

Pardi co-wrote the single along with nine other songs on his freshman album, 'Write You a Song.'

“We wrote this song last year, and I remember it just kind of poured out,” he says. “I kind of had the line the devil wears black and he goes by jack, and he’s really good at helping me forget … I was just kind of rambling on. It’s all really about the fun things that I can’t put down. The chorus is kind of an anthem of what you can’t put down, not in a bad way … just about drinkin’, smokin’, girls and playing music … everything I can’t put down.”

'What I Can't Put Down' is the California-native's third single off of his freshman album. Pardi says that the album draws from stories from much of his adult life.

“This album represents the last four years of my life, from relationships to playing music,” he says. “It’s a fun, upbeat album with songs about life and love.”
