Jon Pardi has released a music video for his song "Back on the Backroads."

The song and video are a tribute to everything country, including trucks, dogs, horses and women. The clip also adds in a bit of humor, with Pardi acting as an old-time cowboy during black-and-white sequences and funny shots of a shirtless man on his boat showing off for a trio of pretty women.

"Back on the Backroads" comes off of Pardi's recently released EP, The B Sides, 2011-2014, which features six tracks that were recorded for his debut album, Write You a Song, but didn't make the final cut. Pardi co-wrote and co-produced all of the previously unreleased songs on the EP.

The B Sides is a little run off from the first album,” Pardi tells Taste of Country. “We had a lot of songs that we really liked for the first album, but rule of voting and everything, we had to put these to the side ‘cause we had our favorites.”

The singer recently wrapped up his time as an opening act on Alan Jackson's 25th anniversary Keepin’ It Country Tour, and he has a full schedule of tour stops planned for the summer. See a list of upcoming shows at JonPardi.com.
