Officials for the second annual Johnny Cash Music Festival announced the 2012 concert lineup Thursday (May 24) during a press conference at Cooper Alumni Center in Jonesboro, Ark. Rosanne Cash, Willie Nelson, Dierks Bentley, and the Civil Wars are all set to take the stage on Friday, Oct. 5, in tribute to the Man in Black. Proceeds from the event will fund the restoration of the Johnny Cash Boyhood Home in Dyess, Ark.

Johnny's son, John Carter Cash was on hand for the announcement and noted, "Rosanne [Johnny's eldest daughter] will be there to represent the family. And Willie Nelson was a dear, dear friend of my father and is very close to our family. He will do a great job along with Dierks Bentley and the Civil Wars. It is a blessing to be back and see the dream continue to become a reality."

Earlier this year, the opening of a Johnny Cash museum was announced for downtown Nashville. Johnny, who was born Feb. 26, 1932, would have been 80 years old this year.

The second Johnny Cash Music Festival event will be held Oct. 5, at Arkansas State University's Convocation Center, 217 Olympic Drive, Jonesboro, Ark. Click here for more information.
