A 2010 John Prine tribute album will come to life in Nashville at the end of this month. The show will celebrate the re-release of the project and will also bring the featured musicians together to benefit one of their own.

Dubbed The Songs of John Prine, the tribute concert will take place at Nashville's Basement East on July 27 and will feature a number of Music City musicians covering classic Prine tracks. Artists set to appear include Jason Isbell, Amanda Shires, the Brothers Osborne, Andrew Leahey and more.

The Songs of John Prine is celebrating the re-release of the 2010 Prine tribute album Broken Hearts & Dirty Windows, with the project being re-pressed on vinyl. Proceeds from the show will benefit Those Darlins' Jessi "Zazu" Wariner, who was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2016; Those Darlins recorded "Let's Talk Dirty in Hawaiian" for the Broken Hearts & Dirty Windows album.

Wariner is using "Ain't Afraid" -- the final song from Those Darlins' last album, Blur the Line -- as her motto during her battle with cancer.

"I don't feel very much fear at all, honestly," she says (quote via Rolling Stone Country). "I feel very good and feel like I am going to live. And even if I don't live, then I wasn't supposed to live. And I just want everyone to know that I am a fighter and I never will give up."
