It's been 30 years since country legend John Anderson released his now-classic hit, "Swingin'." Just after topping the charts in 1983, it won the CMA award for Single of the Year and has since been covered on projects by artists including LeAnn Rimes and Chris Young.

The latest swinger to pay tribute to the tune is country-rap sensation Colt Ford, who has teamed with John Anderson himself for a remake of "Swingin'." Their unique collaboration appears on Average Joe's soundtrack to the movie "Super Zeroes," which hits stores Feb. 19.

Check out the new friends' video for their "Swingin'" duet below, which offers a modern take on the song. "What's exciting for me is getting to work with you," Colt says to John in the second video player below, which features the two chatting about their song. "I'm really excited, too, because it brings these younger kids ... they know the song, but they don't know the man, John Anderson. I'm hoping (this remake) reconnects some of those younger kids with John Anderson."
