After recording four albums on other record labels, including three for Vanguard/Sugar Hill Records, Joey+Rory are releasing a new album, 'Made to Last,' on their own label, Farmhouse Recordings.

“This album is the most personal project we’ve ever worked on,” Rory Feek explains. “With this record, we had the freedom to record anything we wanted. We chose these songs solely because we loved them and wanted to sing them. I know the fans will be able to feel that intimacy when they listen to these tracks.”

The husband and wife duo, which also includes Feek's wife, Joey Martin Feek, say they feel like they have finally found their own unique sound.

“I think it took us a while to really understand the importance of the music we were making,” Rory admits. “I believe the key to our success has been to not measure it by normal standards. If we’re being ourselves and being authentic with our music and our approach to making it … then that’s success for us."

The record, which will be available on both CD and vinyl, includes 12 songs from the current season of their hit TV show, 'The Joey+Rory Show,' currently airing on RFD-TV. Included with each song is their own personal story of why they felt it was important to be included on this project.

Joey+Rory have several shows on the calendar this fall in support of their new album, including a concert this weekend at Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center with Don Williams.

'Made to Last' will be available on Oct. 8. See a list of all of their upcoming shows here, and pre-order the album here.
