Jerrod Niemann is set to release his sophomore album, Free the Music, next Tuesday (Oct. 2) and in conjunction with the release, the "Shinin' on Me" singer will headline a tour sponsored by Jagermeister. The tour kicks off Wednesday, Oct. 10 at Nashville's 3rd and Lindsley and is scheduled to visit more than 20 cities across the country (See the tour schedule below).

Jerrod's Free the Music is the follow-up to his No. 1 debut Judge Jerrod & the Hung Jury, which featured the platinum-selling "Lover, Lover" and the Top 5 "What Do You Want." As a songwriter, Jerrod has nearly 10 million albums sold to his credit, having co-written one of Garth Brooks' biggest hits, "Good Ride Cowboy," in addition to songs for Blake Shelton, Lee Brice, John Anderson and Jamey Johnson.

"I'm so excited to be teaming up with Jagermeister," says the Kansas native. "It's a perfect fit because we both come from German origins and both believe in the power of music."

Jagermeister, the top-selling imported liqueur in America and the eighth-largest-selling premium spirit in the world, has sponsored country music tours in the past, including a 2010 trek for Eric Church and one the following year for Dierks Bentley.
