Jason Aldean is a huge sports fan, especially when it comes to college and professional football teams from Georgia. Unfortunately, his favorite NFL team, the Atlanta Falcons, will not be playing in the Super Bowl on February 6. Since the Falcons were ousted from the playoffs by Green Bay last weekend with a score of 48 to 21, maybe Jason has a backup team?

"Not really. That would've been the [Tennessee] Titans, but they didn't even make it to the playoffs, so no," Jason tells The Boot. "Next year. I'm waiting on August, so that's it. Baseball season's here in about two months, and the [Atlanta] Braves got [second-baseman] Dan Uggla, so I'm looking forward to a pretty good year. Football, not so much."

The Georgia native even turned down a chance to go to Texas for the big game. "I actually had a chance to go to the Super Bowl, and I'm not even going because I don't like either of the teams," Jason says. "There's four of them now, but I don't like any of those four."

One thing Jason will enjoy is performing for his fans this weekend. He launches his My Kinda Party tour, featuring Eric Church and the JaneDear Girls, in Little Rock, Ark., Friday night (January 21), followed by a show in Fayetteville, Ark., on Saturday.
