Jason Aldean Fan Suffering From Cancer Receives Special Message

Jason Aldean fulfilled the dream of 7-year-old Tyson Zimmer, who is suffering from brain cancer, by posting a personal video message to his young fan on WhoSay this week. (Watch it below.)

"Hey, Tyson. It's Jason Aldean. I heard your story," the country superstar says in the video. "I heard you're going through a little bit of a rough time ... I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you being a fan of my music. I'm glad you like it. I hope you feel better soon and, hopefully, I'll get a chance to meet you. I just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking about you."

"I sing 'Big Green Tractor' because that's my favorite," the brave little boy told KOLN-TV/Lincoln. According to the station, Jason also sent Tyson a package of autographed memorabilia, as well as four tickets and meet-and-greet passes to an Illinois show next month.

Tyson suffers from medulloblastoma, and doctors removed a golf ball-sized tumor from his brain in 2011. Unfortunately, the cancer is back, and according to his mother, Liz Duering, is fatal.

"They all say with this type of relapse, it's incurable. They can give chemo ... but it just gives you a little more time. He won't survive," she explains.

The boy got the attention of the "Fly Over States" singer with the help of the local radio station, KFGE/Lincoln, and countless strangers, who launched a social media campaign to get Jason's attention.
