Jason Aldean Is Engaged to Brittany Kerr

Jason Aldean is getting married.

The country superstar and his girlfriend, Brittany Kerr, got engaged on Wednesday (Sept. 24) after he proposed to her at the San Diego Zoo, according to Us magazine.

Kerr posted the following picture to Instagram, writing, "My man did it again. Today was amazing. #sandiegozoo #myeverything."

Representatives for Aldean confirmed the engagement on Thursday (Sept. 25).

This will be the first marriage for Kerr, a former 'American Idol' contestant and dancer. Aldean was previously married to Jessica Ussery for 12 years.

Aldean weathered a huge scandal after TMZ published photos of the the singer kissing Kerr at an L.A. night club in September of 2012. He and Kerr both apologized for the incident, which he attributed to alcohol.

He and Jessica announced their separation in April of 2013, and Aldean subsequently filed for divorce in May.

Aldean and Kerr confirmed they were dating in March of 2014. The singer's reps said the pair began their relationship after he split from his first wife.
