It's been nearly a month since Jana Kramer's self-titled debut album was released, and the songstress is still riding high from that milestone. This isn't the only career high this year for Jana, whose debut single, "Why Ya Wanna," has already broken chart records. According to her label, Warner Music Nashville, it reached the Top 30 on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart faster than any debut single, in addition to making her the most-added debut artist in the history of the chart, which was created in 2006. As her song sits in the Top 15 of that same chart, Jana prepares for her first-ever appearance on the "Tonight Show With Jay Leno," which airs Wednesday night (July 11). While the actress is no stranger to the small screen, she's understandably anxious about the appearance, during which she'll perform her single. To calm her nerves, The Boot sat down with Jana for a lighthearted chat during which we asked her to "fill in the blank" on everything from the best thing about being single and the first time she was recognized, to which celebrity she can't wait to meet (and here's a hint, that meeting will be happening soon!)

I found out I was going to be on the "Tonight Show" when I was ...

Leaving a radio station and my radio rep was canceling a show on July 11. I was like, "What's going on? Why are we canceling a show?" I'm always glued to my calendar. I like to know where I'm going and what I'm doing, so I called my manager right away. She was like, "Well, it's not confirmed yet, but it's probably going to be the Jay Leno show." And I was like, "Oh, confirm it! You have to confirm it right now." [laughs]

If I could ask Jay one question it would be ...

Who he's ever been starstruck by. Because I know Morgan Freeman is going to be there the day that I'm going to be there and I'm his biggest fan ever. It's probably going to be the first time I'm ever going to be starstruck.

When I meet Morgan Freeman, I'm going to ...

Ask him to record a voicemail message on my phone, and really hope he says yes. I have no idea what it will be -- whatever he wants, whatever he's feeling. [laughs]

The first time I was recognized in public ...

It was three years ago, right when my stuff on "One Tree Hill" was starting to air, and I was out in a bar in Chicago. The girl asked if I was Jana, and I was like, "Yeah, who's asking?" [laughs] I couldn't figure out why she wanted to know.

The day I bought my album was ...

I actually haven't had time to go into a store and see it and buy it, yet. One of these days, I will actually go into Wal-mart or Target, but I did buy it off of iTunes. I downloaded it day of, because I was so afraid. I was like, "Well, at least one person is buying it." [laughs]

The most personal song on my album is ...

"Over You By Now" and "Good as You Were Bad." I'm a huge ballad girl, and I actually didn't write either of these. Those were my two favorite ones. In the studio it was definitely hard to sing, because they were super, super, super sad and I would just want to go home and cry.

The song I have found most people are connecting to from the album is ...

"Goodbye California." I get the most tweets about that one. And "Whiskey," because that was on "One Tree Hill." And I hear a lot about "One of the Boys," which is a fun, uptempo song.

The best thing about being single is ...

Not having to report to anyone.

The worst thing about being single is ...

Not having anyone to be there for you.

The craziest thing a fan has ever given me is ...

Actually, I got the craziest/sweetest thing on Sunday night (July 8). He got me an iPod Touch and he engraved it, "Believe, Jana Kramer, 2012 Debut." It's the sweetest thing ever, but it's also insane. I was like, "Uh, OK, thank you."

My must-have beauty product is ...

Dry shampoo.

One movie that always makes me laugh out loud is ...

"How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days." I love the scene when they're talking about Krull the Warrior King.

If I could be on a reality show, I would be ...

I want to be Kourtney Kardashian.

Every single day, I ...

Call my mom. She lives in Michigan, and I don't get home to see her as often as I'd like.
