'American Idol' has just wrapped its 13th season, and many fans and critics feel the chemistry between the judges was the best in years. Keith Urban responded this week to speculation about his future on the show.

Speaking with Larry Morgan and Klaudia Aresti from Go Country 105, Urban all but confirmed his participation for next year. Asked about the possibility of getting a bigger trailer, he replied, "I'm working on it. It's part of the negotiating for next season."

He was more direct on the red carpet with CNN at the season finale.

"Yeah, I'm back," he replied point-blank. "Definitely I'm back."

Harry Connick, Jr. also confirmed his return next year during an appearance on 'Live! With Kelly and Michael,' leaving Jennifer Lopez as the only judge who has not yet committed publicly to the show's 14th season.

"I can confirm that I want to," Lopez tells E! News. "I can't confirm that I am just yet."

According to the Hollywood Reporter, multiple other sources close to the situation believe all three judges will return for next year.
