Hunter Hayes gave fans turning 21 the perfect soundtrack for their birthdays with his latest single "21," and now, he's released a music video to put visuals to the anthemic tune.

The video combines footage of Hayes playing his guitar with shots of dancers silhouetted against a green background, obviously having a good time. From break-dancing to splits, everyone's dancing like no one is watching, which is exactly how you should dance ... especially when you turn 21.

Hayes' team members, friends and dog all make appearances, and it's clear from the finished product that shooting the clip was a whole lot of fun. While we're not sure if Hayes' girlfriend Libby appears in the music video (she might be one of those dancers, but we're not positive), the four-legged friend in the video is definitely his new pup Cole.

""21" is the most fun I've had on set!" Hayes posted on Twitter. "Having the band and Cole there brought all the good vibes!"

Though the song itself is carefree, advocating living life to the fullest through the analogy of turning 21, staying up all night and getting "drunk on good love," Hayes celebrated his own 21st birthday in a much more subdued manner.

"I was in New Orleans. I played my first headline show in a theater the night before. At midnight, I went out with some friends, members of my team," he tells USA Today. But, he was scheduled to sing the National Anthem at the Superdome the same day and admits, "I capped it off with one drink. I was proud of my behavior, I must say."

Hayes is currently on tour with Lady Antebellum and Sam Hunt, on Lady A's Wheels Up 2015 Tour. He's also scheduled to help celebrate Independence Day at A Capitol Fourth in Washington, D.C.
