Holly Williams Welcomes Second Baby Girl
Williams and her husband Chris Coleman, along with big sister Stella (who was born in September of 2014), welcomed the sweet baby on Tuesday (March 8). Lillie Mae Louise was born weighing 6 pounds, 15 ounces and measuring 20 inches long.
“We are SO incredibly excited to announce the birth of God’s newest gift to us!” Williams tells Us Weekly. “Lillie Mae Louise Coleman has made our hearts flutter, and her big sister Stella June is beyond thrilled about the newest addition to our family …”
The singer kept fans abreast of her pregnancy progress on Instagram: She shared a to-do list on Monday (March 7) that, in addition to moving and buying floodlights, also included packing a bag and heading to the hospital for a 10PM birth. Williams also posted a photo on Instagram of her and her baby bump looking for “hospital hallway maternity wear.”
The singer last released a record in 2013, and she’s currently working on a 2016 release. Country radio doesn’t widely play Williams’ music, so the singer credits her loyal fanbase with keeping her career going.
“I do have great fans. I think about that a lot, and I think it’s because I’ve never been played on the radio,” Williams tells The Boot. “I’m too folk for country, and I’m too country for folk, and all these things, so people really have to find me, and I think when people really have to search you out and hear about you, they stick with you so much.”
