Life could be imitating art soon for Hayden Panettiere, star of the hit TV drama "Nashville," who wants to record a full country album. The actress, who plays up-and-coming country starlet Juliettte Barnes on the ABC show, actually has a background in music. In 2008, she released the single, "Wake Up Call," and has songs on several movie soundtracks, including that of "Ice Princess," "Cinderella III: A Twist in Time" and "Hoodwinked Too!"

"I recorded an album when I was younger, and I always said that if I was going to go back to music, I would do country," the 23-year-old tells US Weekly, adding, "I'm keeping my fingers crossed."

Despite a lot of practice, Hayden reveals to the magazine that she does get nervous before filming her performance scenes for "Nashville." "It's intense and intimidating and, at the same time, thrilling," she says. "Once I'm up on stage and comfortable, you can't get me off."

"Nashville," which also stars Connie Britton as veteran music superstar Rayna James, airs Wednesdays on ABC.
