Hank Williams Jr. has announced plans to embark on a fall tour, to coincide with the release of his upcoming new album on Nash Icon Records.

“2015 has been a great year for Bocephus,” the 66-year-old says in a statement. “I signed a new record contract and am making one of the best albums in many years. I am testing a few songs on the crowds at the shows, and the fans are reacting to them, which is a good sign in this business. With these upcoming shows, the fans can expect to hear lots of the hits, a few new things and, more importantly, should be prepared to boogie woogie.”

The country music hitmaker signed with Nash Icon in April, becoming part of a roster that includes Reba McEntire, Ronnie Dunn and Martina McBride.

“I am writing songs better than ever and am signed with a label that is already making history,” he says. “It’s an exciting time!”

Williams, who recently performed at WE Fest 2015 in Detroit Lakes, Minn., has a smattering of dates scheduled so far in New York, Mississippi, Texas and Louisiana; more dates will be added. Ticket and venue information is available on his website.
