A country icon and the genre's fastest-rising star are teaming up for a co-headlining tour in the summer of 2016.

Hank Williams Jr. and Chris Stapleton have announced their plans for a limited-run co-headlining trek, set for August. The tour is scheduled to begin on Aug. 5 in Tampa, Fla., and hit eight cities throughout the month, before wrapping up on Aug. 27 in Cincinnati, Ohio. A complete list of dates and venues is below.

Tickets for select dates on Williams Jr. and Stapleton's co-headlining tour will go on sale on Jan. 29, as part of Live Nation's Country Megaticket. More information is available on both Williams Jr.'s official website and Stapleton's official website.

Stapleton is going to have a busy summer in 2016: The singer-songwriter is also booked to play both weekends at Coachella in April and at Bonnaroo in June. Williams Jr., meanwhile, released his newest album, It’s About Time, in mid-January. The disc is his first on Nash Icon, and his first new album since Old School New Rules was released in 2012.
