With just over three months to go before the release of the Hank Williams biopic, I Saw the Light, the first trailer for the movie has been revealed.

The two-minute preview highlights Tom Hiddleston's performance as Williams, as well as Elizabeth Olsen's turn as Audrey Williams. At various points in the clip, Hiddleston can be heard singing "Hey, Good Lookin'" and "I Saw the Light."

"Everybody has a little darkness in them. I talk about things like anger, sorrow, shame. I show it to 'em, and they hear it, and they don't have to take it home," Hiddleston, as Williams, says in the trailer. "Country music, it's sincere."

I Saw the Light is based on Colin Escott’s biography of Williams. It was written and directed by Marc Abraham, and produced by Abraham, Brett Ratner, Aaron L. Gilbert and G. Marq Roswell. James Packer and Jason Cloth served as executive producers, and Dante Spinotti was the cinematographer. Bradley Whitford, Cherry Jones, Maddie Hasson and Wren Schmidt are also in the film, and Rodney Crowell served as musical director.

The first clip from the movie was released in mid-September, and numerous stills have been revealed as well.

I Saw the Light is set for release on March 25, 2016. It was originally scheduled for release on Nov. 28, but due to Hiddleston’s schedule and the intensely competitive Oscar season, the delay is for the best, says Sony Pictures Classics Co-President Tom Bernard.
