Gwen Sebastian has just released a new album. Her 15-track self-titled CD hit shelves Tuesday (June 25) on Flying Island Records via a newly-inked distribution deal with Warner Music Nashville.

The former contestant on 'The Voice' has already released the first single, 'Suitcase,' which she co-wrote with hit songwriter Nicole Witt. "I wanted to release a song that had an uptempo feel to it but also had a story behind it," Sebastian explains. "It's a story of having strength and moving on."

The new set of tunes, which is her first album in four years and her first since appearing on 'The Voice,' has already been receiving rave reviews.

"As usual, Gwen sings with loads of moxie, fire and personality," music journalist Robert K. Oermann says. "As both a performer and a writer, she's a talent to be reckoned with."

The CD includes guest vocals by Miranda Lambert and Sebastian's musically talented parents. The singer-songwriter will spend the summer on the road, serving as the opening act for Lambert and Dierks Bentley on their 2013 Locked and Reloaded tour. See all of her upcoming shows here.
