With a new season comes a change to The Boot's Grace & Tony Greenroom Sessions: They're now called the Guest Room Sessions. The first installment of the revamped video series features the Christian Lopez Band, along with Drew Copeland of Sister Hazel, covering Fleetwood Mac's 1977 No. 1 hit "Dreams."

The collaboration came about organically, Lopez tells The Boot, when he and his band -- comprised of himself on vocals and guitar, Michael Silver on drums and Chelsea McBee on banjo and vocals -- were set to open for alternative rock band Sister Hazel in Carrboro, N.C.

"When I found out that Drew was a Fleetwood Mac fan, I immediately had the urge to ask him to join us on a rendition of "Dreams,"" Lopez recalls. "It's one of my favorites, and Chelsea, Mike and I have jammed on it for years. We sat down with Drew in the dressing room and ran through it once or twice."

Though their performance in the video above is not an impeccably rehearsed tune, their voices meld together like bread and butter -- and they all felt it.

"We all love that song so much that it came together so naturally," Lopez says, "and we had so much fun playing it. Might even stick it in an upcoming set!"

Lopez previously contributed to two Greenroom Sessions videos: a cover of Dawes‘ "Million Dollar Bill" and a rendition of the Band‘s "Ophelia."

The Guest Room Sessions will return to The Boot on Oct. 15. Be sure to check back then for a brand-new video!
