Granger Smith has an ambitious, unique tour planned to coincide with the release of his major-label debut album, Remington: On March 6 and 7, the singer will visit the original 13 colonies, plus Washington, DC, and recite the Pledge of Allegiance at each stop.

Dubbed the Granger Across Merica Pledge of Allegiance Tour, the trek will stop at major landmarks in Atlanta, Ga.; Greenville, S.C.; Charlotte, N.C.; Norfolk, Va.; Washington, DC; Baltimore, Md.; Wilmington, Del.; Philadelphia, Pa.; Hartford, Conn.; Providence, R.I.; Boston, Mass.; Portsmouth, N.H.; East Rutherford, N.J.; and New York City, all within approximately 48 hours. Smith will begin at the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta at 7AM on March 6 and end at Battery Park in New York City at 8:15PM on March 7. A complete list of stops and times is below, and more information is available at GrangerAcrossAmerica.com.

"I've always felt compelled to voice my love of this country," Smith says in a press release. "My granddad and so many countless others have fought for our freedom. That freedom allows us as Americans to pursue our dreams, and I am proof they can come true."

The Granger Across Merica Pledge of Allegiance Tour is the latest in a string of patriotic displays from Smith. In addition to playing several shows for U.S. troops overseas, Smith founded the 100-Mile Boot Walk, which helps raise awareness about the challenges and needs military members face when they return home and benefits the non-profit Boot Campaign.

"I feel blessed to have a platform that may inspire others to remember what this nation was founded on," the artist adds. "I hope folks will join me in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance as a symbol of our thanks for those who defend our God-given rights."

Remington, Smith's first record with Wheelhouse Records, after years successfully growing his fan base and brand as an independent artist, is set for release on March 4. The disc's debut single, “Backroad Song,” recently hit No. 1, and its second single, "If the Boot Fits," is now at radio.
