Derek and Marcus of Cutthroat Shamrock, an Irish punk rock band, get in on the fun in today's Grace & Tony Greenroom Session. Grab the whiskey (or beer, if you're like Grace) and take a listen!

In this session, Grace & Tony lend their "punkgrass" sound and harmonies to two songs Cutthroat Shamrock has recorded for their own albums. The first, 'Whiskey is the Life of Man,' is a traditional Irish drinking song, and the latter, 'The Banshee,' is their own instrumental jam.

"Cutthroat is one of our favorite bands, and puts on one hell of a live show," Tony tells The Boot. "It was so cool to see them flex their versatility on this stripped-down acoustic performance, which is a lot different than their normal, high-energy, Irish punk rock shows."

Fittingly, they shot the clip at Knoxville's The Well, which provided the perfect chance to tip one back after rocking out.

Join The Boot again on July 1 and July 15 for two new installments in this collaborative video series. In the meantime, if you'd like to learn more about Grace & Tony, check out their official website.
