Grace & Tony Greenroom Sessions: ‘November’ (Feat. John Paul White From the Civil Wars)

Today's installment of the Grace & Tony Greenroom Sessions is a family affair: the Civil Wars' John Paul White -- who happens to be Tony's brother -- joins the husband-and-wife duo for a new take on their original song 'November.'

"We were very excited to do a Greenroom Session with John," Tony tells The Boot. "We haven't had nearly the amount of time to perform together as either of us would like."

Once their schedules worked out, selecting both the song they'd perform and the recording location was easy, Tony says.

"It was only right that we would do the song 'November,' as that has been John's favorite song from the 'November' album," he says, "[and] 116 E Mobile [in Florence, Ala.] is our favorite venue in the Muscle Shoals area, so it was an easy choice."

Cellist Daniel Jameison lent a hand for this session as well, and Tony says they "loved the extra layer [his] work added."
