You just never know who you'll find at SXSW. On Sunday night (March 13), Willie Nelson made a surprise appearance at the Spotify House, and on Tuesday night (March 15), the King of Country Music himself, George Strait, showed up for a quick set at Ray Benson's Birthday Bash.

According to Billboard, Strait performed hits such as "Troubador," "The Fireman" and "Here for a Good Time;" press play on the video above to see a snippet of him singing "All My Ex's Live in Texas." The country legend also donated items to a silent auction for the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians.

In addition to Strait, Benson's Birthday Bash also featured appearances by the Avett Brothers, Dale Watson, Sunny Sweeney and more.

Country music fans have plenty to see at SXSW this year: Kacey MusgravesMaren Morris, Lanco, Loretta LynnWhitney RoseBobby Bare Jr. and more country, folk, Americana, bluegrass and alt-country acts are scheduled to play during SXSW 2016, which runs through March 20. Additionally, Nelson will host an event at his Luck, Texas, ranch, featuring Jenny Lewis, Lucius, Blitzen Trapper, Billy Joe ShaverJohn Moreland, Nelson’s son Micah’s band Insects vs. Robots, Jack Ingram, Jamie Lin Wilson, Ray Wylie Hubbard, the Black Lillies and many more.

Beginning in April, Strait will perform a series of shows in Las Vegas, Nev. He most recently released an album, Cold Beer Conversation, in late September. The project features 13 tracks, including the title track, which was released as the record’s first single.
