George Strait has announced an additional run of shows in Las Vegas, Nev., in 2017, following six shows at Sin City's T-Mobile Arena throughout 2016.

Billed as 2 Nights of Number 1s, Strait's newly announced Las Vegas dates are set for April 7 and 8, July 28 and 29, Sept. 1 and 2 and Dec. 8 and 9, 2017. At these concerts, Strait will showcase his 60 No. 1 hits, as well as some of his fan-favorite songs from throughout his career. Cam will be joining Strait at all of the shows as the country icon's special guest.

Tickets for Strait's new Sin City shows are scheduled to go on sale on Dec. 2 at 10AM ET; additional information is available at StraitToVegas.com.

Thus far, Strait has played Las Vegas four times: April 22 and 23 and Sept. 9 and 10. He has additional concerts scheduled for Dec. 2 and 3, 2016, as well as Feb. 17 and 18, 2017.

Strait announced his 2 Nights of Number 1s shows prior to his Wednesday night (Nov. 16) celebratory show in Texas. That event was coordinated to celebrate the Friday (Nov. 18) release of Strait Out of the Box: Part 2, a box set featuring three discs, containing a total of 56 tracks curated by Strait himself, from music released between 1996 and 2016.

“Going back through all the songs for this box set does bring back a lot of old memories,” Strait explains. “A lot of them we considered for radio singles, and for whatever reason, we just picked something else. It was not that hard to pick them after I looked through them because there are just so many that are my favorites.”

Strait Out of the Box: Part 2 picks up where Strait Out of the Box, Strait’s 1995 box set, left off. That four-disc collection features music released by Strait between 1976 and 1995, and has, to date, sold more than 8 million copies, making it one of the best-selling musical box sets of all time.

Strait officially retired from touring in 2014.
