The Boot rounds up today's country music news from around the web.

Mega-stars continue to lineup for George Jones' final concert, which is set for Nov. 22, 2013 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. Garth Brooks, Kid Rock, Shelby Lynne, the Oak Ridge Boys and Sam Moore are the latest acts announced for the historic event. The celebrity packed lineup also includes Dierks Bentley, Charlie Daniels, Jamey Johnson, Montgomery Gentry, Lorrie Morgan, Kenny Rogers, Randy Travis, Tanya Tucker, Josh Turner and Gene Watson. More stars are expected to be announced for this one-night-only tribute to the iconic entertainer.

Kenny Chesney, a bikini-clad beauty and ... a rooster? The country superstar has revealed the artwork for his upcoming Life on a Rock album, which features pictures from his sun-kissed life, along with handwritten notes. Check it out, along with a personal note from Kenny about the new music, on his Facebook page. Life on a Rock hits stores April 30.

Two big premieres are coming up tomorrow (Feb. 27) right here on The Boot: Eli Young Band's "Life at Best" video and "Morning After," a track from Ashley Monroe's upcoming Like a Rose album.

Luke Bryan is currently splitting time between his Dirt Road Diaries tour dates and prepping for his co-hosting gig with Blake Shelton for this year's ACM Awards. "Whatever the writers write, Blake and I will have to say it, but we'll certainly have a lot of input to do funny things," Luke reports. "You just have to prepare and make sure you're ready for what's fixin' to happen! I'm not going to let myself go out there and be unsure of anything. Just go out there and make the most of it and be comfortable." The 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will air live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas April 7 on CBS.

Little Big Town has been impressing both fans and music critics alike on their Tornado tour thus far. The band members themselves have also been impressed by fan reaction over songs from their current album that haven't even been released to radio yet. "It's exciting," says LBT's Kimberly's Schlapman, "to watch people in the crowd singing the songs that are on the record but not on the radio yet, but they know all the words to the songs that are on the record. That's so much fun to watch and hear." Kacey Musgraves is currently serving as opening act for the show. David Nail is set to join the tour on March 8 in Buffalo, Mich. The group is closing in on another No. 1 hit with the current album's title track, "Tornado."

Global music sales were up in 2012, marking the first increase since 1999. Total revenue from music sales hit $16.5 billion last year, which is just a tiny jump of 0.3% from sales in 2011. This year will hopefully see a bigger boost, due to stricter rules on illegal music sharing online. [AOL On]
