Gary Allan has released the video for his latest single, "Hangover Tonight." The sexy song is the debut single from his still-untitled upcoming new album.

The video shows Allan, well, making a video. But with the exception of Allan's band, who all wear sunglasses while playing behind him, everyone else on the set -- including Allan's background singers, camera crew and assistants -- are all strikingly gorgeous.

The "Hangover Tonight" video also shows Allan imbibing on a little whiskey, which fits perfectly with the lyrics: "We been hanging around this place / Hanging on to the hope in the way this whiskey tastes … Feelings getting stronger / How could this be wrong, girl? / All night long, girl / I wanna hangover tonight."

Both the song and the video have a bit of a blues-meets-retro feel, which could be an indication of the direction that Allan is taking his new project.

“I feel like this is the fourth or fifth time I’ve reinvented myself or tried to push myself to do different things," Allan says (quote via CountryMusicChatLive.com). "I feel like I have pushed myself into a very comfortable place because it is kind of '50s and '60s Motown. It reminds me of when I did "Runaway" and things like that. So it was a very easy thing for me to do. I was in rockabilly bands my whole life, and to me, it was just a throwback to my youth writing with these guys. It was a lot of fun.”

Allan co-wrote "Hangover Tonight" with Chris Stapleton, Cary Barlowe and Jesse Frasure. The track is available for download on iTunes.
