Garth Brooks World Tour Dates

Garth Brooks has already announced that he is kicking off his world tour on Sept. 4 in Chicago, Ill. But the singer-songwriter is keeping his fans who are eagerly waiting for the remainder of his tour stops in suspense, for now anyway.

Brooks is apparently only revealing one stop at a time, which will be announced first on his website. Fans who want to be the first to know all of his tour stops can sign up for his newsletter on his website.

He posted this announcement:

I am overjoyed with the announcement of Chicago and the opening of the World Tour…between Chicago and Dublin, it’s been a roller coaster ride of emotions.
We are starting with the tour page, each city will have its own announcement. The music, the store, Garth 101, and more…it’s all coming. We will grow together. Here we go!

The Oklahoma native says the Windy City was the perfect place to kick off his global trek, which is expected to last as long as three years.

“As an entertainer, you get asked a lot ‘what are the best cities to play?’ Brooks says. "Without hesitation, I rattle five or six of the best places to play and that list ALWAYS includes Chicago. It is the PERFECT city to launch the World Tour!”

The concert will be held at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill. Tickets go on sale July 25 at 10AM at Ticketmaster, by calling 1-800-745-3000 or via Ticketmaster Express at 1-866-448-7849. There will be no sales at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets on July 25. All tickets will be priced at $65.50.
