Phoenix country fans, get ready, because Garth Brooks will be returning to Phoenix for the first time in 19 years.

The "Friends in Low Places" hitmaker has announced the Garth Brooks World Tour, along with his wife Trisha Yearwood, will make a stop in Phoenix for not one, but two nights on its second leg. The shows will take place at Talking Stick Resort Arena on Friday, Oct. 16, at 7PM; Saturday, Oct. 17 at 7PM; Friday, Oct. 23, at 7PM and 10:30PM; and Saturday, Oct. 24, at 7PM and 10:30PM.

Tickets for the two shows will go on sale Friday, Sept. 11 at 8AM ET. Fans can purchase tickets at www.ticketmaster.com, ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks or by phone at 1-866-448-7849 or 1-800-745-3000. There is an eight-ticket limit per purchase and there will be no ticket sales at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets on Sept. 11.

Tickets will cost $59.08 plus $4.90 tax, a $4.75 facility fee and a $6.25 service charge for a total of $74.98.

The Phoenix stop is part of the tour's second leg; the first wrapped in mid-July and the next will kick off in Dallas, Texas on Sept. 17. Brooks promises the second trek will be different than the first.

“We have taken a lot of looks at what’s working, got rid of things that weren’t, and we’re coming out with a brand-new look,” Brooks explains. “We’re gonna re-design the whole video world, the wings of the stage are a little different, and the setlist is kind of … it’s starting to fall into the sweet spot.

“We’re bringing a whole new look,” he adds. “If anybody came out to Tulsa, went down to Houston, over to New Orleans, whatever, this is gonna be a different look than what they saw.”
