It's been 17 years since Garth Brooks has played a concert in Nebraska, but fans in that state don't have to wait much longer to see Brooks' World Tour: The singer has announced a set of Nebraska dates in early May.

Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood will play Omaha, Neb.'s CentryLink Center on May 7 at 7:30PM, May 8 at 7PM and 10:30PM, May 9 at 7PM and 10:30PM and May 10 at 7:30PM.

It was only a matter of time until Omaha showed up on Brooks' tour schedule. Back in December, while speaking with Kat 103.7 FM, Brooks hinted that he would be playing some shows in the city.

"I have seen it on the schedule," Brooks said (quote via Omaha.com). "You didn't hear that from me."

Tickets for the Omaha concerts will go on sale on March 27 at 10AM CT, with a limit of eight tickets per purchase. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster.com or by phone at 1-800-745-3000 or 1-866-448-7849. Tickets will cost $62.36, plus $4.37 tax, a $2 facility fee and a $6.25 service charge, totaling $74.98.

Since beginning his World Tour in September in Chicago, Brooks has stopped through Florida, Pennsylvania, New York, Oklahoma and Michigan, among other states. His upcoming April 15 concert in Portland, Ore., will be his 100th concert on this tour.

“For me, I don’t care about the dollar bill bottom line, I care about the memories of, did I have fun there? Did we get to do stuff as a crew there, as a band there?” Brooks says of selecting cities for the tour. “You betcha, we’re going back to all the fun places."
