After 13 years, Garth Brooks returns to the charts with 'Man Against Machine,' and to no one's surprise, he's at No. 1.

Brooks topped the Billboard Country Albums chart with his 14th career No. 1 album debut and fourth consecutive No. 1 album debut. On the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, Brooks is No. 4, with 130,000 units sold. Sitting at the top of the chart is Taylor Swift, whose '1989' is at No. 1 for its third week in a row.

In addition to performing well on the charts, the 'Friends in Low Places' hitmaker is breaking lots of records with his World Tour. Recently, Brooks has set ticket sales records in Tulsa, Okla.Minneapolis, Minn., and the state of Arkansas.

And as if he's not busy enough, Brooks, who recently joined social media, is crafting all those updates himself.

"I think it’s kind of dangerous to have someone else do it for you," he says. "I I just don’t like somebody else speaking for me."

Brooks has a No. 1 album (available on GhostTunes and here), a record-breaking tour, a brand-new ASCAP Centennial Award and millions of die-hard fans. It suffices to say that absence makes the heart grow fonder!
