Just weeks after adding a slew of additional shows in Chicago to kick off his long-awaited comeback tour, Garth Brooks has also added more shows in Atlanta.

Tickets went on sale Friday morning (Aug. 8) for Brooks' concert at the Philips Arena on Sept. 19. Due to high ticket demand, the superstar rapidly added a show the following night, followed by a second performance at 10:30PM on the 19th. Tickets were still selling at press time, with the possibility of more shows still to come.

In keeping with Brooks' promise to hold ticket prices down for the tour, seats in Atlanta cost $56.94 plus $4.56 tax, a $4.00 facility fee and a $6.00 service charge, totaling $71.50. There is a six-ticket limit per customer. Tickets are currently on sale at Ticketmaster.

The Atlanta run of shows are the first Southern stops on Brooks' upcoming world tour, which he has said will last as long as three years, and include new music from the album he is currently working on.

Brooks' wife, Trisha Yearwood, will also perform on all of the upcoming dates. Yearwood has said she hopes to have a new album ready for the tour launch as well.
