Country music may be known for its "tear in my beer" sad songs, not to mention its tunes about trucks, dirt roads and Southern living, but the genre also has a helluva sense of humor.

Some of country's biggest stars have flexed their comedic muscles in the recording studio, and then turned those funny songs into even funnier videos. Below, The Boot counts down our favorite funny country music videos.

    "Country Man"

    Luke Bryan

Pigs, port-a-potties, pumped-up gym rats and Dierks Bentley are just some of the stars of Bryan's funny 2008 video. The Georgia native plays goofy well; throughout the video, he struggles to lift five-pound gym weights, babysits a pig and dances with Bentley.

"Tim McGraw gets to shoot videos in Paris, and I'm at a fair in a row of porta-lets, holding a pig that poops on me," laments the "Country Man."

    "Stuck Like Glue"

    Sugarland

Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles is quite convincing in the role of a crazy stalker obsessed with her ex-boyfriend, played by Chuck actor Ryan McPartlin. With help from her partner-in-crime, Kristian Bush, she kidnaps McPartlin and throws him a little party, complete with a dance routine in leotards. If any potential suitors had seen this video, they might have thought twice before asking Nettles out on a date.

    "One More Last Chance"

    Vince Gill

This 1993 Gill video starts the laughs with a band member letting a golf cart roll into a pond, but it's the John Deere tractor snafu that's the real knee-slapper as soon as you see who's driving it (why, it's none other than George Jones!). For those not in on the joke: One of the song's lines, "She might have took my car keys, but she forgot about my old John Deere," is in reference to the time that Jones drunkenly drove his lawn mower to a bar after his wife hid his car keys.

"Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off"

    Joe Nichols

All of the people were hoping that Nichols' "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" would spawn a sexy video with a pretty lady didn't quite get their wish.

"It's not too often that you get a 70-something-year-old lady who streaks in a country music video," the singer tells The Boot, referring to the pool party scene where his "grandmother" drinks too much Patron and sheds her clothes.

"It was just weird that she was OK with it," he laughs. "As a matter of fact, when we were done, she took a dip in the pool naked!"

"I Don't Even Know Your Name"

    Alan Jackson

Comedian Jeff Foxworthy begins this 1995 clip of Jackson's in a dentist chair under anesthesia. He suddenly finds himself in a bar falling in lust -- er, love -- with a gorgeous waitress. After numerous shots of tequila (bad things seem to happen when tequila is involved), he winds up married to the waitress, who is missing a front tooth and not quite so attractive -- insert understatement here.

    "The More I Drink"

    Blake Shelton

In this hilarious clip, Shelton gets his friend drunk, and retaliation comes in the form of the 6'5" singer getting beat up by a girl. A bar brawl ignites, and they're all arrested. Shelton then has the unenviable task of preventing his really, really intoxicated friend from taking off his pants while standing in a police lineup.

(Editor's Note: Shelton's "The More I Drink" clip is not available to share on The Boot, but you can see it here, or watch a live video for the tune below.)

    "Girl in a Country Song"

    Maddie & Tae

There are a whole lot of country music videos that feature women shaking their money makers, but in Maddie & Tae's "Girl in a Country Song" video, there's a role reversal -- and it's laugh-out-loud funny. Maddie Marlow and Tae Dye's clip features the guys doing the stereotypical "sexy girl in a video" things; from seductively eating strawberries to wearing Daisy Dukes to sitting on the tailgate of a pickup truck, these guys do it all ... and in crop tops!

    "Why Wait"

    Rascal Flatts

The Flatts hook up with actor David Arquette and Sin City celebs Wayne Newton and Penn & Teller in this parody of the hit film The Hangover. The guys, sporting pastel-colored tuxedos, wake up from a drunken stupor with comedian Carrot Top lounging in a bubble bath in their Vegas suite, while lead singer Gary LeVox is inexplicably wearing swim goggles and a snorkel.

"As Good as I Once Was"

    Toby Keith

It was hard to choose just one video from Keith to make our countdown, but this self-deprecating 2005 clip won the toss. The rough-and-tumble Okie, with all of his swaggering bravado, is shot down several times in this entertaining take on a guy's aging process. To add insult to injury, the singer finds himself in a bar fight and ends up in an ambulance, thanks to being matched up with a beast of a guy.

    "Online"

    Brad Paisley

This clip reunites the notoriously comedic William Shatner and Jason Alexander (who also directed), both of whom appeared in Paisley's funny 2003 video for "Celebrity." "Online" stars Alexander as a nerdy pizza delivery boy who still lives with his parents (Shatner and Estelle Harris, who played Alexander's TV mom on Seinfeld) but has a whole separate, cooler life online ... as the 6'5" Paisley.
