Frankie Ballard, Jon Pardi Tour Will ‘Tie One On’

Frankie Ballard and Jon Pardi are hitting the road together for the Tie One On tour. The 12-city trek, which will include Miss Willie Brown on select dates, promises to include plenty of fun for their loyal fans.

"I have always wanted to do an old school package tour," Frankie explains. "That's what all my musical heroes did back in the day. Piled into two Cadillacs and hit the highway! At least we get to do it on a bus. Jon and the Miss Willie Brown clan are great people and I'm honored to share these dates with them ... there'll be no shortage of fun, hell, we're tyin' one on right?!"

"I've had a blast visiting radio this year promoting my first single 'Missin' You Crazy,' and seeing the fans respond," Jon adds. "I can't wait to get back on the road, especially with great live acts like Frankie Ballard and Miss Willie Brown. It's gonna be a rowdy, beer-drinkin' good time!"

Ironically, in spite of the tour's moniker, one of the songs of which Frankie is most proud from his self-titled debut CD eschews the consumption too many libations.

"One of my favorites on the album is 'Sober Me Up,' which is a slow down, soulful song with some bluesy licks in it," the 29-year-old tells The Boot. "I didn't write it. I've just lived it. It's about needing a good woman to help keep your feet on the ground, because life can get crazy and it's a whirlwind of stuff. That's what I'm going through. I'm so busy all the time, and you can lose yourself and forget to slow down sometimes. That song is about the only real thing that can help you do that. In my case, it's a good woman."
