Frankie Ballard has become an honorary Friends & Family member of the Country Music Hall of Fame.

The Michigan native celebrated the honor with a stop by the Hall of Fame museum in downtown Nashville on March 6 to meet staff and tour the museum's famous exhibits.

Ballard's current single, 'Helluva Life,' is climbing the country radio charts. The tune comes off of his recently released album 'Sunshine & Whiskey,' which hit shelves last month.

“It was incredibly parallel with what was going on in my life,” Ballard says of the song. “It’s such an appropriate thing for me to be releasing as my first single off the new project. I thought my first single was gonna come out and, ka-pow, be off to the races, but that didn’t happen. But at the end of the day, I feel very blessed to be in the game and to have a new single.”

The 31-year-old singer will be joining Jake Owen for select dates on his Days of Gold Tour this summer. Ballard's live performance schedule is available on his website.
