Trace Adkins, Big & Rich to Ring In an ‘All American New Year’

FOX News Channel has tapped two notably patriotic country acts to join the network's 'All American New Year' broadcast. Trace Adkins and Big & Rich will sing on the show, set to air live from New York City's Times Square at 11:00 PM ET on Dec. 31. The cast of Broadway's 'Rock of Ages' will also perform, with FOX's Megyn Kelly and Bill Hemmer serving as the night's hosts. Viewers will be asked to text in their holiday messages, which will appear on a screen ticker throughout the show.

In the same neighborhood but over on another network, the Band Perry will perform on the 40th annual 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve' special. Ryan Seacrest, Fergie, and Jenny McCarthy will share hosting duties with the television icon. The live ABC broadcast will also feature performances by Florence & the Machine, Gym Class Heroes, LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, OneRepublic and Will.i.am (of the Black Eyed Peas), among many more acts from all genres of music.

Lauren Alaina and Rodney Atkins will ring in the new year in Las Vegas, where they'll perform on FOX's 'American Country New Year's Eve Live.' It also starts at 11:00 PM ET on Dec. 31.
