Florida Georgia Line had to cancel a planned performance at the 2014 Country Radio Seminar after Tyler Hubbard was injured in an accident over the weekend.

Hubbard was spending a day off riding dirt bikes on Sunday (Feb. 16), when he came up short on a jump, injuring his back. His partner in Florida Georgia Line, Brian Kelley, revealed the news to an industry audience in Nashville on Tuesday night (Feb. 18).

"He's no Evel Knievel," Kelley joked (quote via Taste of Country). The roomful of a few hundred radio and music business insiders raised shots of Fireball Whisky in Hubbard's honor.

The duo were scheduled to perform, but had to cancel their show because of Hubbard's injury. According to Taste of Country, the singer was visibly uncomfortable during media events earlier in the day. He has reportedly visited two chiropractors and the hospital already this week, and is now on rest.

The duo's next scheduled concert date is on Thursday (Feb. 20) at Van Andel Area in Grand Rapids, Mich. as part of Jason Aldean's Night Train Tour. So far the date is still listed on their website tour schedule.
