Florida Georgia Line surprised fans at a recent Chainsmokers concert in Cincinnati, Ohio, to perform their collaboration "Last Day Alive." Readers can press play above to watch FGL's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard join the EDM duo onstage for the performance.

A curtain of lights blocked the stage from view as "Last Day Alive" began, but as it was raised up, Kelley and Hubbard stood onstage with the Chainsmokers. Together, the two duos worked up the crowd while singing lyrics such as "Run into the bright lights / Most nights / Now or never / Always and forever / The last day alive ..."

"Last Day Alive" is a song that Florida Georgia Line describe as "emotional" and "a little bit dark," but they also consider it energetic and hopeful.

“I think people are going to jam their freakin’ faces off. It’s a positive song, but it’s emotional at the same time,” Kelley tells The Boot. “I think it really sounds like if FGL and the Chainsmokers did a collaboration, that’s what you get.”

In an Instagram post, Kelley shared a video of the performance, calling it "one of my favorite nights of life ever." He also voiced his excitement for future shows, leaving open the possibility that the two groups will appear together live down the line.

"Last Day Alive" appears on the Chainsmokers' recent studio album Memories ... Do Not Open and is one of several collaborations on the album.
