Florida Georgia Line are having a summer to remember. The duo, made up of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, is currently headlining their Smooth Tour, with Nelly and Chris Lane opening for them for all dates and '90s pop group the Backstreet Boys joining them for a few stadium shows as well.

"We had a little taste of it in 2014, when we did a little ballpark tour with Nelly and Chris Lane," Hubbard told The Boot and other reporters at a recent media event. "We knew it was going to be cool, but I think the coolest thing for us -- there’s two cool things: We get the brotherhood back on the road, the good vibes. We get Nelly, Chris Lane -- we love those boys ... They’re our brothers out there, so it’s instant: You’re comfortable out there. It feels like summer camp, adult summer camp, out there.

"And then, to give our fans something that we know that they want, and that’s that tour again, and that’s that vibe and some different surprises throughout the night and the evening," he continues. "You look out and you see a bunch of different people with different stories, and they’re all speaking the same language of music, and it’s pretty freaking cool.

"So we’re proud of that, creating a space where people can come and celebrate, party, get spiritual," Hubbard adds. "We love it. We’re thankful for this tour. It feels like we’ve got everything dialed in. I think it’s our best set yet."

The Backstreet Boys' remaining dates with Florida Georgia Line are July 29 at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minn., and Aug. 12 at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Ill. Russell Dickerson, Ryan Hurd and Morgan Wallen will also be joining the Smooth Tour on select dates. More information, including dates and opening act information, is available on FGL's website.
