Florida Georgia Line are heading to the small screen. The duo will appear live as themselves on the Season 3 premiere of the hit TV show 'Nashville.' The hard-working men will have to perform twice for the season opener so their appearance can be live for both East and West Coast viewers.

"Florida Georgia Line is one of the music industry's hottest groups," the show's executive producer Dee Johnson tells People magazine. "They've achieved the level of stardom that we explore every week on 'Nashville,' so we are delighted to have them perform live on both coasts for our historic third season premiere."

Two of the show's cast members, Chris Carmack (Will Lexington) and Charles Esten (Deacon Claybourne), will also perform live during the premiere. The performances will take place on the show's Bluebird Cafe set, and the remainder of the show will be pre-recorded.

The FGL guys aren't the only country stars who will head to 'Nashville' this season. Luke Bryan has announced that he will appear later in Season 3 with the show's star, Connie Britton, and 'Good Morning America' anchor Amy Robach. Other special guests include 'Dancing With the Stars' pro Derek Hough and Tony Award-winning actress Laura Bantani.

The cast of 'Nashville' began filming for the third season in July, after budget considerations almost forced the show to tape in Georgia or Texas. The season premiere will occur on Sept. 24 on ABC at 10:00 PM ET.
