The 2015 ACM Awards nominees for Vocal Event of the Year were a diverse batch of songs, ranging from mid-tempo tales of nostalgia to high-energy expressions of girl power to songs about longing and one night stands. But, in the end, Florida Georgia Line's "This Is How We Roll" captured the award.

The Academy of Country Music announced that Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley's collaboration with Luke Bryan was the category's 2015 winner via a tweet while red carpet festivities were taking place.

FGL were also nominated for Vocal Event of the Year for "The South," the Cadillac Three's collaboration with the duo, Dierks Bentley and Mike Eli of the Eli Young Band. The categories other nominees were Blake Shelton and Ashley Monroe, for "Lonely Tonight;" Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert, for "Somethin' Bad;" and Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, for "Meanwhile, Back at Mama's."

Florida Georgia Line could potentially take home three more awards this evening. They are nominated for Single Record of the Year, for "Dirt," as well Vocal Duo of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. They will also be performing during the ceremony.
