The list of new country album release for the first month of the new year is slim (read: almost non-existent), so rather than naming an Album of the Month for January 2015, The Boot is asking readers to help select an Album of the Year for 2014.

Each of the 12 albums included in the Album of the Year poll was named Album of the Month during 2014: Jennifer Nettles' 'That Girl' was January's Album of the Month, while 'The Outsiders' by Eric Church claimed February's title.

Sara Evans' 'Slow Me Down,' Josh Thompson's 'Turn It Up' and Brantley Gilbert's 'Just as I Am' earned Album of the Month honors in March, April and May, respectively. 'Road Between' by Lucy Hale took the Album of the Month crown in June, and Blackberry Smoke's 'Leave a Scar: Live in North Carolina' did the same in July.

In August, Sunny Sweeney's 'Provoked' was voted the most-anticipated album; 'The Big Revival' by Kenny Chesney took the title in September, and Florida Georgia Line's 'Anything Goes' did so in October.

Rounding out 2014's Albums of the Month were the Doobie Brothers' 'Southbound' and Carrie Underwood's 'Greatest Hits: Decade #1,' named Album of the Month in November and December, respectively.

Each of these records earned the highest percentage of reader votes against their competitors -- but which disc will you determine to be the overall 2014 Album of the Year? Vote for your pick in the poll below. You can vote as often as once per hour through Dec. 31. We'll feature the winner as Album of the Year in January.
