Following her triumphant return to the CMA Awards stage last month, Faith Hill is set to once again grace TV screens with a performance of 'Come Home' on the 2012 People's Choice Awards, telecast live from Los Angeles on Jan. 11.

"We are so lucky to have Faith on board to perform at the People's Choice Awards," says Executive Producer Mark Burnett. "Her experience, mainstream appeal and status as one of the top female performers of our time make her the perfect addition to our telecast. I am proud to make this major announcement, the first of many to come for the 2012 show."

'Come Home,' now available on iTunes, was co-written and produced by pop heavyweight Ryan Tedder, lead singer of OneRepublic. The tune is Faith's first release from her upcoming project, expected to be released in February. It will be her first studio album of new music in six years.

"I've actually been in the studio a couple of times in the last six years," Faith reveals. "I'm just trying to find that spark, that thing that's exciting for me and that feels inspired and true and honest. It's been a creative journey ... But no one's really heard anything. [Laughs] But that's going to be the nice part: to actually get it finished and get it out there for people to hear."

Tune in Jan. 11 at 9:00 PM ET on CBS to catch Faith's performance on the People's Choice Awards.
